Joey Chancey

Joey Chancey is a Music Director, Pianist, and Conductor based in NYC.

Chancey is currently the Musical Supervisor for Antonio Banderas’ inaugural production of A Chorus Line at Teatro del Soho in Malagá, Spain in addition to the South Africa Tour launching in 2020.

Most recently, served as the Musical Director and Arranger for The Watsons Go to Birmingham, 1963 at the Kennedy Center. Recent credits include: Little Shop of Horrors at The Kennedy Center and Associate Conductor for Annie at The Hollywood Bowl. He also completed three seasons as Artistic Director of the Pocono Mountains Music Festival. 

On Broadway, Joey was Assistant Conductor for An American In Paris and Gigi, starring Victoria Clark and Vanessa Hudgens. He also played piano and conducted the 2012 Broadway revival of Annie and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (2014 Tony Award).
